World Class Facilities

For other sporting enthusiasts there’s the world class facilities of Blacktown Olympic Park, where the Sydney 2000 Games were held for baseball and softball. Watch Local, National and International baseball and softball competitions or organise a game of your own. The park is a multi purpose community facility with an athletics track and corporate function rooms. Soon this could be home to AFL in Western Sydney and host future Pura Cup and One-Day cricket matches as well.

The Wave Pool at the Blacktown Leisure Centre is the only wave pool in Western Sydney and can generate waves up to 1.5 metres – the most consistent surf in Greater Sydney! It’s aquatic fun at it’s very best – and the waves are only part of the excitement. Try the 25m indoor pool, gym or get involved in one of the many indoor sporting competitions such as netball and soccer.

Indoor competitions can also be organised through the Blacktown Indoor Sports Centre – the only centre in Western Sydney incorporating indoor baseball into their wide variety of sports offerings.
