Blacktown Visitor Information & Heritage Centre inspires guests to engage with Blacktown's rich culture and heritage. It is one of the only remaining Heritage Listed buildings in Blacktown City and regularly features historical exhibitions, including the history of the former Blacktown Public School, which used to be housed in the building. The centre is the only place where you can purchase unique "Blacktown" merchandise in the city and is also a valuable source of information about things to do and see in Blacktown City, Greater Sydney and regional NSW. Ghost Tours at St Bartholomew's Church & Cemetery
Why not partake in a scary ghost tour? Held on one Saturday evening per month, this eerie tour takes you through the historic St Bartholomew's Church and the graves in the immediate vicinity. 'The guides of St Bartholomew' lead you around and tell stories about the lives of the people buried there, including famous early explorer William Lawson (who was one of the first European Settlers to cross the Blue Mountains) ... who knows if you're lucky - or unlucky - you may just get to meet some of the ghosts who carefully watch over their graves. The Nurragingy Blacksmith
The Nurragingy Blacksmith holds traditional blacksmithing demonstrations every weekend in the Blacksmith's shed at Nurragingy Reserve, Knox Rd, Doonside. Highlights of the blacksmithing demonstrations include: Forge Welding, Hand made chain links, Boiling water in a paper bag, Sharpening of old coalminers hand drills, Hand made S-hooks, plus many other interesting Blacksmithing skills. The art of Blacksmithing is slowly dying - the Nurragingy Blacksmith is keeping the craft alive. Free demonstrations most weekends and public holidays (approx 8.30am - 4.30pm). Native Wildlife
Boasting the largest collection of native species in Australia, Featherdale Wildlife Park allows visitors to get up close to over 2200 animals from more than 320 species. You can cuddle up to a koala and hand feed kangaroos all day. In fact, the closeness and quality of the interaction with the animals is one of the reasons that Featherdale has won so many awards at regional, state and national level over the last 8 years. As well as numerous koalas and kangaroos, features include face-to-face encounters with emus, an amazing and diverse range of birds, several species of unusual Albino animals, about 60 species of reptiles and over 30 species of rare or endangerd animals. Featherdale Wildlife Park is great fun for all ages.

Watch the professionals in action or take part yourself ? you can start with the Go-Karts at Eastern Creek Karting Raceway and move up to Drag Racing your own Top Rod at the Western Sydney International Dragway. Eastern Creek Raceway regularly hold Drive Days plus offer Racing Car Rides. That?s plenty of high octane action just to get you started.
