Are you apprehensive about using toxic chemicals in your garden to control pests? Want to learn how to keep the pests at bay while keeping your fruit and veggies safe from chemical exposure?

Join educator and permaculturalist, Steven Walker, for this hands-on workshop designed to help gardeners manage those pesky pests that tend to take up so much our garden energy. We will look at ways to encourage more beneficial insects into our gardens and how to make organic remedies that are inexpensive, sustainable and safe to use.

For safety reasons and the comfort of our attendees, children under the age of 16 are not permitted at this workshop.

Ticket sales open on 15 June 2018.

There is fee of $10 for this workshop which helps to cover materials. All bookings must be made online through eventbrite. Unfortunately no cash payments are available.

Please be aware that places for this workshop are limited. Your place will be secured only once you have completed the booking and paid through eventbrite. If the workshop sells out, your name will be put on a waitlist and we will contact you if a place becomes available.

We also offer a number of FREE Sustainable Living Workshops for those people looking for a no-cost workshop to attend. Visit to see our other upcoming workshops and events.
