Details:
You will learn the basics on how you can get started and the different options available including composting, worm farming and Bokashi systems. You will also get some great tips on how to reduce your waste at home.

For attending this workshop, you will receive a kitchen caddy on the day and compost bin*, which will be delivered to your door soon after attending the workshop. If you work for a local childcare centre or school but live out of the area, you may register to attend the workshop but will not be eligible to receive a free compost bin.

This is a free workshop for Blacktown local government residents only. Places are limited and booking is essential.

For safety reasons and the comfort of our attendees, children under the age of 16 are not permitted at this workshop.

These workshop are often held in outdoor locations in our community gardens. Seating can be limited and the event may be cancelled in the event of adverse weather and rain.

*limit one kitchen caddy and compost bin per household. The free compost bin counts as one of two eligible rebates. If you have previously attended the workshop, you are not eligible for a second bin.
