Become a Bushcare Volunteer
Blacktown City has one of the most active and caring Bushcare Volunteer Programs on offer, with approximately 220 residents involved. These residents give up one weekend a month to help maintain and care for bush areas in their hometown.
There are currently 13 Bushcare Groups in Blacktown City located at:
• Banks Reserve, Sparman Crescent, Kings Langley
• Bill Colbourne Reserve, Hillend Road, Doonside
• Duncan Park, Superior Avenue, Seven Hills
• Faulkland Crescent Reserve, Faulkland Crescent, Kings Park
• Kellyville Ridge, Ionian Way, Kellyville Ridge
• Pied Piper Playground, Beethoven Street, Seven Hills
• Whitehaven Reserve, Lyndel Close, Quakers Hill
• Knudsen Reserve, Garfield Road West, Riverstone
• RAAF Memorial Park, Belmore Avenue, Mt Druitt
• Morgan Power Reserve, Hawkesworth Parade, Kings Langley
• Tregear Reserve, Wilkes Crescent, Tregear
• Tuscan Waters, Greenhill Drive, Glenwood
• Timbertop Reserve, Norman Street, Prospect
New volunteers are always needed. No experience is necessary.All you need is a passion for the environment.
